I'm looking for a all-in-one. Hp or canon. I want a cheap all-in-one with least problem because i don't know much about these. I wish it can be altered so that i no need to purchase a new ink including the catridge so that i can refill without buying a new catridge. Is canon pixma mx310 and mx318 the same? i don't really can find information about mx310 at Malaysia. Pls note that i'm from Malaysia, i not sure mx310 is being sell at Malaysia or not. Is canon pixma mx 308 good?

Canon printers are good. No one can tell you of one that’ll not give you problems as like everything in live nothing is perfect and things can always go wrong with one when 100 might have never had a problem.
The Canon Pixma printers are good and I’ve one, but you’ve to buy a new cartridge each third or fourth fill as the cartridges no longer work after that as they’ll ware out. No printer will have a cartridge that can be refilled for life. Also, not all cartridges can be filled as some printers don't recognize refilled ones and refuse to print.
With my Canon, it's a Pixma MP220, I can refill it but I’ve to reset it as other wise it just states error all the time as it thinks its out of ink and will not print.
If you get a Canon you will need to reset it when you put in the refilled cartridge and you do this by pressing the reset button. The reset button on mine is a small button on the bottom row that has a red triangle inside a red circle and two black slashes over the top of it. This button needs to be held down for a few seconds when the error message cartridge problem 163 or something similar comes up. Hold it down until the tiny orange light by the screen goes off. The orange light is the warning light and resetting using the button is the only way to get it to work again.
I can not say that you’ll get a model that will allow refilling as manufacturers are now making them so that it is very hard to use anything other than original cartridges.
