i have a brother 2170W printer, and my computer, and all the other ones on my network could recognize the printer… it all happened spontaneously
anyways, i was wondering how to “reset” the printer…. i remember i did it before, but i don’t remember how.
please help me, and htnaks in advance, which ever answer solves my problem, i will award it as the best answer….
Answer:
Hold the button down while turning the printer on so all the lights turn on, then release the button. Now press it 7 times and wait. The printer will be reset to factory defaults.
I just had to do this to my printer yesterday, so it does work.

Unplug it and plug it back in.
