when i print a black and white picture with the mode Black and White under printing preferences it works fine but when i got colour every picture no matter what colors it has comes out greenish!

It seems to have a clogged printhead. Clean the printhead but refer to the manual of your printer on how to clean it. If it still fails, try to have it cleaned by a technician. If those two method still fails, your printer's printhead had probably damaged and it's much superior to have a new printer rather than replacing it.
BTW, Brother has many flaws in its machines. I've had one before but after just a year it went unoperational. It's not surprising for me to hear complaints like this.
