first of all, inkjet printer and laser jet printers have difference.
I am an IT professional, i would suggested that you should purchase old laserjet printer if you want to buy old one because old laserjet has one time investment which will give you high performance than inkjet printer.
Inkjet printer: you have to refill its cartridge many times after taking 10 to 30 prints and cartridge head becomes bad after 2 or 3 refillings.
