printer ink is high,right?

Because printer manufacturers make money on selling you ink cartridges.
If you've already got a HP printer, you're unlikely to go out and purchase a Lexmark printer with ink cartridges, even if it is cheaper at the outset.
One other point is that the ink cartridges you get with a new printer aren't actually 'full' cartridges. They're there to get you up and running, and won't last as long as new cartridges would.
