How do I reset the low ink error after refilling a PG 40 cartridge on my Canon MX300

it should do it automatically, whenever i insert new ink, it does so its strange it doesnt but i presume this is because its not a new cartridge, you’ve refilled it which canon dont advice so i'm afraid you'll have to put up with the l;ow ink warning
