SOS: Operation couldn’t be finished. The print spooler service isn’t running.? How can i fix a full ink absorber of my Pixma iP1800 printer?
Oct 15

I was replacing the ink in my printer when ink started coming out of one of the cartridges and got all over my sink and ring. How can I get the ink out of the diamond settings? Are there any cleaning solutions I can use that I already have in my home instead of buying a ring cleaning solution?

Please HELP!

Answer:
i always use toothpaste to clean all my jewelry including my wedding rings, but after cleaning them with a toothbrush and the toothpaste, i rub a lemon all over it for about a minute. after rubbing it i rinse with water and it's sparkling clean. hope it works, i've been doing this since i was about 10, now 24 and my mom always does this too.

Answer:
Soak in straight household ammonia for several hours and use a toothbrush with some toothpaste to shine it up.

If you don't have anything in your home (i.e. the above ingredients) most jewelers have a sonic cleaner and will clean your rings for free. Just take it to the jeweler shop and ask them to clean it.

Answer:
You might dull the finish with any at-home methods. Many use them but I wouldn't take the chance with that type of ring. Take it to a jewelry shop. It's free and you can look at all the gorgeous things while you wait (about 5 minutes). Your ring will come out looking so sparkly!

Answer:
Toothpaste (not gel) and an old toothbrush. Gently scrub the ring and it's settings. Rinse in luke warm water. (To ensure you don't lose the ring down the drain, put a wash cloth over the drain hole.)

Answer:
Rings tend to accumulate grease and oils beneath the settings, and Dawn Dishwashing Liquid is fantastic for cleaning diamond rings and other jewelry.

Answer:
Ink is best dissolved by rubbing alcohol, but check with your jeweler to make sure that it won't damage your ring.

Answer:
The ideal things I found for cleaning my engagement ring are: a soft toothbrush with tooth paste or soak it in denture cleaner. I hope this is a helpful hint for you.

Answer:
Toothpaste and tooth brush with a tiny water.
