i changed the black ink cartridge and now the red in light is flashing,and the on screen ink level indicator has a large red cross through it,as if to say the cartridge in not in the printer,i have used a genuine epson To711 cartridge.any ideas on what could be wrong? thanks

Double check the cartridge is in correctly, sometimes they need that extra push until they actually click into place. Then switch the printer off and on again, so as to reset it. Hope this helps….
