I printed two out of three pages in a document, and then it stopped. The machine is brand new, and I had not printed anything in color, only black. The ink monitor showed every color as empty, even though I didn't believe it.
The machine was checked by a technician–he said the only problem was that it didn't have black ink. I installed the black ink and tried to print, but ended with a blank sheet of paper.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and tried the test print. It states the printer works correctly, even though I notice it doesn't have any writing in black.
I tried to print with black ink again and ended with another blank sheet. What should I do?
Answer:
you need a head cleaning process, go to your printer right click and hit preferences hit maintenance and then head cleaning…follow the screen messages, if its finished try hitting nozzle check for the printer output performance, repeat it until the output is good.
Answer:
Isolate the problem.
Turn the printer power off. Then while holding down the paper feed, turn the printer on. The printer should produce a self test page. If it does, the problem isn’t the printer. Go to printers and right click your printer icon, then select properties and print test. If the test looks good, you have zeroed in on the software you are using to print.
If the self test doesn't work, the problem is the printer.
