My personal died last week, and now I've finally gotten it to work, but all my devices, including my printer, need to be re-installed. I don't have a CD, so does anyone know how to do it? My father did it when I got my new computer, but I didn't pay enough attention so I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?
Answer:
If you lost the CD that came with your HP Photosmart 8400 series photo printer, you can download replacement duplicates of the installation files that were on the driver CD from this page:

If you’re using Windows Vista, your version of Windows already has the drivers to run your printer built in, and in this case, you don't have to download any drivers.
Answer:
you can't install it without the manufacturer's CD try to get the CD if you can't get it try to plug in the printer to your personal then then windows should try to Manually install the driver for you pinter i don't think it would successfully install it thought it never worked for me
