It depends on how much text and graphics are on the page and how often you use the printer. If you use it irregularly, it has to run extra cleanings between uses which wastes some ink. It also depends on whether you use genuine Epson cartridges or compatibles. Compatibles usually have more ink. I purchase my Epson compatible cartridges at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp They’ve more ink and are under $5.
