like sometimes when I put paper in, it starts printing right away although I didn't press print on the personal that day. usually when it's slow, I press to print a page multiple times. impatient huh? How do I cancel them to make sure I don't waste any paper? thanks in advance!
Answer:
I always tell my students, never ever press print more than once. If it doesnt come out immediately there’s a reason. Don't keep pressing and print and waste loads of paper. If the print icon comes up on your task bar, right button and then click on each print document in turn and press delete. Otherwise, Begin button, (or WIndows logo if you are Vista) up to control panel, printers and faxes, open the printer folder and delete from there. However, switching off the printer is sometimes faster and will clear the memory, but don't do it if you have a page half printed - you dont want a paper jam.
