I'm looking to print a 24″ by 36″ poster at officemax. How shouldI bring the file in? Canon MP210 printer. Trouble with ink sludge on bottom of cartridge holder at rubber scraper.?

There is usually an “ink saver” or similar mode that will put the print quality down to save ink. You can also manually set the print quality in many programs. Also, if you're printing text or other black and white documents, make sure the printer is using a black cartridge, not mixing colors to make black.

to make it last longer, when u print go to your printing properties and choose “quick print”
also, when there’s nearly no more ink, shake the cartridge, you may get a tiny more out of it.

If you print photos, print small ones, not large, A3 size ones.

If writing word documents, don't go into too much detail- waste of ink!

If I were you I would go to the printers website and look up the model to see how to put the printer to Ink save mode, or the mode that uses less ink.

Copy and paste anything that you want to print into notepad or microsoft word, highlight it all, and turn it into the smallest text possible but still able to read. It works. :)
