Original Ink Cartridge are very expensive in fact you could buy a new printer at a very expensive price. I’ve turned to REFILLABLE INK CARTRIDGE, with some little problems.
The only problems of these refillable ink cartridge is when you’ll refill it. I refill the ink cartridge to near full, the ink meter says it's near empty in fact it is near full.
To solve this problem, is to reset the ink meter. My printer is “Brother DCP-150C”. It can be a SOTFWARE or STEP BY STEP way with out using applications to reset ink meter.

Brother printers read the ink level optically, so unfortunately there is no way to get them to read entirely full. Likewise there’s no override to reset the ink level.
