I have an HP Deskjet 9800 poster printer that I’ve had for over a year now. I just bought new color and black ink today. It's telling me the black ink is fine, but there’s a problem with the color ink. I know it's not the cartridge, because I have other cartridges that I tried to put in there as well. Can anyone tell me how or what I can do?

Try cleaning the cartridge contacts inside the printer. Use a clean, dry, lint-free cloth and gently wipe the contacts from the top to the bottom.
