When i´m trying to write photos from my mac book i get an error message :”some postscript specific settings interruption's calibration,encoding will be ignored since you’re printing to a non postscript printer.”
can anyone explain this in plain English, i´m kind of fresh with mac book and need to know how to fix it,so that my printer will work properly

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw… has the drivers, etc. for Mac. Download them and install. Restart (with the printer connected) and the Mac should recognize and run it.
Note: the “Software” download (at the bottom of the page) includes the drivers and other software that allows full operation. Download the package for your OS version. (OS 10.3,4 and 5 have a download, and OS 10.6 has a different download.)
If you are using 10.5.2 to 10.6.x, any software that may have come with the printer would need to be replaced with the newer versions listed on the internet page.
At least you won't need to do any “configuring” as you would with this model when hooked to a Windows machine. I found several reports of Windows' “Add new Printer” not recognizing this model and needing to be manually configured! If you are having trouble with an error message, imagine the headaches you'd have under WINDOZE!! ![]()
