some printers wont start printing after new cartridges are installed until you run a calibration print sheet on them first so that the printer is properly calibrated.
Answer:
Did you remove the little plastic covers off the bottom of the ink cartridges?
Did you follow the directions that came with the printer?
If you said no to either of these, go back and read the manual.
