I know how everything works I just don't know where the ink cartridge would be??
Answer:
You can lift up the scanning plate part as a music box thingy and then the ink cartridges will move into an accessible position.
I have attached a link to a pdf copy of the manual for you.
On page 11/58 it shows you what to expect.

usually the front door opens and when you open the door the print cartridge moves to the front for easy replacement. make sure your plugged in to get the cartridge into position.
