the only ink that was out was the 88 black. i replaced it and all the other inks are nearly full. now it says that the printer is ready but nothing prints. i have Epson Stylus NX100 Series. what do i do now im frustrated and i want to break this thing. ive only had for 3 months
Answer:
run a test page… if it doesn't print black on the paper, pull out the cartridge and run a piece of tissue along the cartridge pins and see if the ink left the cartridge at all.
if so you might have something blocking the cartridge from printing onto the paper… like dust bunnies
if there was no ink on the cartridge… the cartridge could be bad.
or even at last resort the drivers for the printer could be bad.
Re: did you charge the cartridge at all after the install?
If not that might be your prob, press stop (upside down triangle) to charge the cartridge, takes about a minute to do
