What’s the deal with ink? How do you use the Canon PIXMA iP90 without plugging it into the wall-socket?
Apr 01

I’m debating between the Epson r1400 or the older Epson 2200. The Epson r1900 and r2400 are a bit out of my price range. Does anyone own either and have any experience with them or know of something similar by Epson? I also plan to do black and white and comprehend the the 2200 gives more options with black and light black. Is the r1400 good at creating black and white prints with only 6 colors versus the 2200 which has 7? Thanks.

Answer:
HP Photosmart B8350 I believe is another wide format
as is the Canon Pixma Pro 9000.

I would go with the older Epson 2200 myself, haven't heard anything good about the 1400.

Answer:
You should get the HP 9650 which accepts 13 x 19 and full bleed 12 x 18.
It prints very very fast and the cartdrige lasts for quite a while actually.
Good for printing business card, or heavy card stock without any problem whatsoever.

or you can get the HP B9180.

You also have these extra wide formats with 24 x 50″

Whatever you decide, HP are very robust compared to Epson and more cost efficient. I’ve both models so I know first hand.
