my stupid lexmark printer (p915)always says 'clear carrier jam' but there isnt even a carrier jam there. sometimes it does work but even then the picture isnt alligned properly. its like one half to the side and the other half to another side. i cant take it back i dont have a warrenty and buying a new one would be too high-priced. please someone help me

From what you’re saying you are getting 'clear carrier jam' because of a misalignment. The jam error message is a generic message that applies to a multitude of things. The carrier while is in right, might not be sitting right. A piece of plastic that holds the carrier might be broken or the printhead might be messed up. Anything that causes it to not sit the way it wants will cause that error message.
