I have a Canon Pixma mp210 printer, and this day I replaced the black ink cartridge. I bought the exact ink cartridge that my printer originally came with, however when I went to print a document, there were ink smudges on the paper, and lines that were supposed to be black appeared first in brown, then pink. I have never had an issue with smudging before or color. I did many maintenance checks for the printer, such as, a regular cleaning, print head alignment,, nozzle check, and a bottom plate cleaning. I printed the document a couple more times and there is still random smudging on the page. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
Answer:
take the printer cartridge out clean it with a simple coffee filter (hp tech suggestion) because the coffee filter leaves no dust or doesn't scratch the head. gently wipe the cartridge clean and print a few pages that should work
