i have something i really dont want to print like really bad and my parents cant see it. i have a laptop and it is hooked to the family comp. this thing is in my que, it is approximately 6.65 MB. it has been Status:Deleting for about 45 minutes, and its still there. what should i do? if i delete the hookup of my comp to the family, will it automatically stop it? my computer won’t let me pause the printer. rebooting didn’t help. it has to be gone by morning or im going to be dead to my family.

I'm assuming that’s a networked printer. Have you tried deleting it on the Server? The personal where the printer is physically attach. I think deleting your printer just to delete the job would work but you should try deleting the job on the server if that’s possible. Good luck!

just try unhooking everything and unplugging the printer. If that doesnt work, stop the printer spooler service. Right-click personal and hit manage, find services, and stop the one called print spooler.
