i want to ask again… well, so i bought black and color cartridge. i used to print black more than the colors. BUT why did the color cartridge run out first? how to set the printer? i've already put it into grey scaling, monochrome, no color etc.
oh, my printer is canon Pixma MP470 … it cost a lot to purchase original cartridge, i ever tried to use injected ink into the old cartridge but my printer can't read the ink level and said the ink has empty/

Get your printer menu up and go into preferences. Then click on maintenance. And the on the ink cartridges symbol that say 'ink Cartridges settings by the side. A little menu will come up and press the arrow by the side of it and then click black only and then OK. Each time you print it will alert you that you’re using black only and just click ok. But you should also be aware the the printer using the colour ink to clean it so you will still use colour ink even if you don’t print in colour.
