Ive recently fitted a new colour cartridge and its working fine but every time I switch on my pc it prints out a test sheet, its ok after that until I turn it off again. then when its turned on off it goes again, its such a waste of paper and ink
I have also scanned it as it requests so how can I stop this.

I too had the same problem sometime back ever since i changed by catridge
when ever u switch on the printer try this command on run NET STOP SPOOLER and
Try to install the drivers software again , allowing whatever she wants to do , at sometime during installation it lets u to give the test page(alignment) like this
Take the test page place it face down in the scanner
Then press the scan button on the printer itself
Make sure that the printer scans the test page.
( sometimes you press the button and it doesn't scan )
( it makes a scanning noise when scanning successfully )
Then it will stop printing the test page ( alignment page ) ever again.
Answer:
When you insert new cartridges you need to realign the print head. As black m said put the test sheet in the scanner and scan. This will realign the head and stop the problem from happening. Remember to do this evey time you change the cartridges.
