Is it because the printer is broke and i gotta get a new one or is there a tiny trick i need to do to get it running and working again?

lc3 has good recommendations. If those do not work make sure the cartridge you purchased was a genuine cartridge. Third celebration, compatible or refilled cartridges may not be recognized by the printer and could damage the printer.
Make sure your cartridge is genuine.

This clears the printer memory and normally fixes minor errors. Also, it could be that your ink cartridge was inserted incorrectly, take out the cartridge(s) and put them back in, double checking to make sure they’re in correctly.
