My Lexmark 27 printer cartridge isnt working, and I just got it filled? HP Deskjet 9800 problem with color cartridge?
Nov 20

I have a HP Deskjet D2460. For some reason when I print something, it moves care about it is printing words but nothing is on the paper. Both of the ink cartridges are totally full. What's wrong/what can I do? I've already restarted the printer.

Answer:
I think your best bet would be to call hp, and ask them.

Answer:
Inkjet printers are notorious for having ink dry up and clog the jets. This would be the most likely cause of your issue as described. You say the cartridges are full but if they are not brand new and you haven't used the printer frequently the jets are likely clogged. You can take a cotton swab with a bit of rubbing alcohol and run that along the spray area. To be quite frank this is why we scrapped our inkjet and went with a Color Laser. They are a tiny more cost up front but you make that up in supplies savings pretty quickly.

Answer:
Checking the ink is the first option. U already did that.

1. So i advocate reinstall the drivers.

2. Even though this happens rarely the catridge holes could be blocked by dry ink. Try scrubing on all sides of the printer with a soft cloth VERY LIGHTLY.

Also is this a new printer, or have u made any changes to the

system recently? (*ANY*) Update the question.
