Ok, so yesterday my printer (HP Photosmart C3180) randomly took a piece of paper, (i didnt tell anything to print) it took a while, and it didnt have anything on it when it came out except 2 spots of ink.
It did it again this day, just now. And the ink was in exactly the same place as yesterday.
At first I thought it was just clearing itself or something, but its never done this before and it did it yesterday and this day.
Anyone know whats up? I hope my pc hasnt been hijacted or anything, theres no other executable files running than their usually is.
Is this my printer just going wrong? OR should I be worried?
if anyone knows, please tell me what is wrong! Thanks

Could it be you bumped it or something? What about down near your clock on the computer, is there an update waiting to install? I know whenever I’ve problems with mine, mines a HP F4235 deskjet, it's a pain sometimes, I unplug it from the port, shut down the computer completely shut the machine off, turn the personal back on, plug it back in and then turn the printer on and it clears the cache of any problems. Mine sometimes randomly will print out several peices of paper with a few blobs on them. Sometimes it's just a bad script leftover from something you printed a long time ago. The other thing you want to do is go to the HP website or microsoft windows and see if there are any updates for your printer, sometimes that's the problem if the other idea above doesn't work.
Answer:
Go into your Control Panel double click on printers & faxs double click on the printer that is doing this see if there’s anything there waiting to be printed if so delete it cancel all documents

All I have the ability to think of is maybe its a scheduled printhead clean or similar task. some printers let you set these up in the printer utilities menu.
