I’ve an HP Deskjet 3840 series printer. It has a color and black and white ink cartridge. The color is low but what I need to print is black and white…
So anyways the paper and all is fine. Plenty there and none jammed in. So when I go to print, it starts making weird noises and when I go to turn it off it doesn't respond until I unplug it. A window comes up on my personal that states to check for a paper jam or whatever but htere isn't any.
Also when it goes to TRY and print sometimes it'll eat the paper and crumble it, jamming it in the printer, I've gotten it out. The window by the way states the ink cartridge can't move but nothing is in the way and all cords are connected so wth is going on?

Wow, that's a pretty hot printer. I wish mine could have a shredder too. Hmm… maybe you’re just pressing the wrong button. Do you see two buttons…. Printer… Shredder…. Printer…. Shredder…. Or maybe there’s no shredder and your printer's just messed up. If that's the case, then I don't know. I can't tell you what to do about your own computer.
Answer:
sounds like you got a bad printer, or somethings wrong with it, or it's the paper. a lot of printers are junk. maybe try an HP printer, unless it's the kind you use. check out the printer, the ink cartridges. or, it might be the paper. the printer might not like it, so it spits it out
Answer:
Probably has bad rollers or needs to be cleaned.
You could probably just purchase a new one pretty cheaply, but if you’re feeling saucy you could try to mend it.
http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/ shows you problems common to your printer model, then sells you a how to video and the needed parts.
