I’ve refilled my own cartridges correctly and now the ink levels won’t set back to full. (I know the are).
But the main problem is, is that my printer is saying that my colour ink is empty and therefore not printing any colour just grey scale?
Can anyone tell me how to resolve this or get into the printer diagnostics?

Lexmark does not recommend use of a refilled cartridge. Refilling a cartridge can affect print quality and may cause damage to the printer.
The cartridge have one micro chip and this not work to refill more that three time ( after that this message don't go away and your printer don't work correct). Let's try some tricks : click Begin. Click All Programs or Programs, and then select the printer program folder from the list. Choose Lexmark Service Center. From the Maintenance page, hover over the cartridge icons. The percentage of remaining ink appears in the hover text. If appear there click reset ink level for a new cartridge . If not :
Go to begin - printer and faxes - right click with your printer - preferences(printing preferences) - settings - load factory settings . If not work :

If it is the colour cartridge you refilled and it still wont print with it, then your printer might not print with refills. A lot of newer printers wont and are deliberatly made so as the manufatures make they money on the ink they sell you not selling the printers!

To reach the Printer's diagnostics, go to Printers in the Control Panel, right-click the icon for the printer, click Preferences, then click the Maintenance tab.
