I'd suggest considering remanufactured HP cartridges. I've been using them with my HP printer for several years now and see no noticeable difference with these, other than price. They are roughly half the cost. Here’s a link to the right cartridges for your printer:

Just go to your local Best Buy, Circuit City or Wal-Mart and pick them up. I really doubt if can purchase HP stuff of Apple's website.

ok for starters mac does not make hp. u have to go to hp web site or one of the office supply stores like www.staples.com or www.officemax.com or even www.walmart.com
