Even after you shake a little more life into, it dies in the exact same spot every time. Does anybody know why?
Answer:
charcinders : He said “Toner” not ink, so wiping the “nozzles” can't work, toner carts DO NOT have nozzles, they’ve a developer roller if they’re a “one piece” cartridge, or it'll feed into a developer drum instead.
Generally if it's a smaller machine with all in one type toner/dev cartridges there’s a small clump of toner has developed around the dev roller. If you remove the cartridge with the problem and VERY CARFULLY take a straightened paper clip and run it along the top of the metal guide where the toner seems to sit, then rollthe roller back/formward with it's cog to see id the blockage moves.
Other thatn “trying to open” the cartridge there's really nothing else to try, and opening it is NOT a good idea, believe me you’ll NOT get it together again
Answer:
Can't tell you why it seems to be same spot as you failed to mention WHAT SPOT that is ! And if there’s a blockage in that area it will stay in that area, If it's the same from multiple cartridges contact their maker for help, let them know they have a problem Report Abuse
Answer:
You mean the dreaded “stripes”? Could be a blocked nozzle. Try cleaning it gently with a damp tissue. It's the tiny metal plate with the little little holes in it.
